About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Bellevue, Taquería Guadalajara is a vibrant Mexican restaurant that promises an authentic taste of Mexico with a welcoming neighborhood vibe. From the moment you step in—or even as you approach this cozy spot—you can sense the dedication behind every dish. Whether you’re craving the rich and succulent Tacos de Cabeza, Al Pastor, Asada, Pollo, or Lengua, or the hearty, satisfying Carne Asada Burrito, each plate bursts with bold, traditional flavors that transport your palate straight to the streets of Guadalajara.

The menu here strikes a beautiful balance between beloved classics and comforting favorites. The Tamales De Elote, subtly sweet and tender with fresh corn, complement the warm, thick, and luxuriously chocolatey Champurrado — a Mexican hot chocolate based on corn flour and native chocolate that soothes the soul on cooler days. If you’re looking for a sweet finish, the velvety smooth Vanilla Milkshake is a delightful, creamy indulgence that pairs perfectly with the savory mains.

One of the most charming aspects of Taquería Guadalajara is its simple, unpretentious atmosphere. It’s fast and clean, with no unnecessary frills—just authentic Mexican food served with heart. This straightforward approach lets the cuisine shine: imagine biting into a freshly grilled tortilla filled with perfectly seasoned meats, topped with just the right balance of onions, cilantro, and house salsa, complemented by a zesty wedge of lime and crunchy radishes on the side. Every bite feels like a celebration of tradition and care.

But it’s more than great food—it’s a place that nurtures community. Customers like Romina A. praise the flavorful green and red chile sauces as “bomb,” highlighting the restaurant’s commitment to both taste and value. Others, like Last Pharaoh, share heartfelt stories of kindness and generosity from Elizabeth, the owner, who goes above and beyond to support those getting started in a new state. This deep sense of warmth and community spirit truly elevates the dining experience.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick, affordable bite like a Torta or a veggie burrito, or savoring the undeniably delicious veggie tacos recommended by Felix Manzueta, Taquería Guadalajara delivers 10/10 every time. The prices are refreshingly reasonable—Jeremy Kuehl mentions enjoying two tasty tacos for just $2.50 each—and yet the flavor never feels compromised.

In a city buzzing with dining options, Taquería Guadalajara stands out by delivering genuine Mexican comfort food that feels both familiar and exceptional. It’s where simplicity meets soul, where every meal is an invitation to slow down, enjoy the rich layers of flavor, and support a local gem that truly cares about its customers and community.

This taco truck is fast, clean, simple, cheap and above all, serves excellent food; exactly what a genuine taco truck should be. No fancy frills, no strange garnishes; you pick your meat, your carb, and it's topped with your standard onions, cilantro, house salsa and that's it: it's excellent. Tacos come with radishes and limes; burritos come with beans and rice. There's not much more to say except you should be eating here.

I've always noticed a line outside Taqueria Guadalajara whenever I drive by, so I decided to stop by with a coworker for lunch and see what the hype was about. We ordered 3 asada and 3 al pastor tacos, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were, especially for the Bellevue area. Being originally from Southern California, I'm quite picky about my tacos, but these were as close as it gets to the ones back home. The salsa is sooo good, and the habanero one had a nice kick to it. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. If you're in Bellevue and craving some authentic tacos, Taqueria Guadalajara is a must-visit!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Cabeza, Asada, and Carnita Tacos. Generous with the raw onions, cilantro, and sauce. The cabeza and asada were the preferred as it was juicy and great texture. The carnitas leaned a bit on the more sour side of marinating and was a bit dry. Still great tacos overall Ambience: N/A - stationary taco truck in a gas station lot. The place was super busy but had a little umbrella and trash can to the side Service: 5/5 - quick and friendly. With that many customers, could definitely understand the pace he was working at Value for price: 5/5 - $2 per taco is a bit pricier but with how things have been changing, still reasonable price. Definitely delicious

Been ordering here for years. Simple, but solid and fresh food. Staff is always friendly, food is out in minutes. Excellent prices. Burritos are awesome. They aren't really wrapped, so beware, but I'm pretty sure they do it on purpose as it comes with a spork. And you are getting more filling than you would with a totally wrapped up burrito. All the ingredients are well proportioned, the tortilla is toasted, and you get a fresh, filling burrito that you can't beat ANYWHERE for $7.50. Tacos are simple. No frills, just cilantro, onions, radish and your choice of meat - but they are good tacos. However, though I love lengua, here I don't reccomend the lengua taco, or to sub lengua in anything. Their other meats are seasoned better, the blander lengua is not worth the extra dollars. Red sauce is good. Green sauce is disappointing. A favorite and reliable spot.
